Spring, Spring glorious Spring! One of the most fun of all the seasons. You can wear singlets with jeans or long sleeves with shorts. I love these looks. I popped down to Sisters & Co in the week to give you guys some inspiration. Let me tell you, it was hard work narrowing down the search!!!
I’m going to focus on the denim shorts because for me they are an absolute staple which I thrash all summer long and of course some of Spring too. I've based these outfits around a trusty pair of One Teaspoon bandits. One Teaspoon has SO many styles so you're bound to find one that fits your shape. The key is to find a pair that are comfortable, fitted to your shape well with a little bit of breathing space. Having slight gaps between jeans and skin make for a flattering look. Please - no super tight muffin top looks - who cares about the size just get what fits you the best.
Let’s start casual - The T-shirt. A look we all know and love for the reason that it works. It’s a classic. But it can be a little boring so find one with some kind of X-factor like this Cheap Monday t-shirt with high neck and a high split down the side which I've tied.
Next up we have the singlet. I have so many singlets in my wardrobe because they are so versatile! So easy to dress up with some heels or down with some sandals. You'll always feel presentable, as if you've gone to some effort in a little strappy singlet. This slinky silky dream is from the brand Shjark.
SO we all love that super-hot big oversized boyfriend shirt look yes? Well I do but I can never seem to pull it off until I put this shirt on by Camilla & Marc - oh my! Splits down each arm, tailored in gently towards the bottom and zippered pinstripe - insert love heart eye emoticon!!! Effortlessly cool and sure to make an impression.
Last but soooo not least is the blazer. I LOVE this look for something a little more chic. Go for a lighter cotton blazer for a casual smart look otherwise the look below would be perfectly suited to a day at the races with some cute block tie up heels. I'm wearing a beautiful Juliette Hogan piece in a stunning soft blush colour with structured shoulders.
