For the ultimate insight, listen to my podcast "Dinner Tor Two" anywhere you normally listen to podcasts!
In the Roundhouse has taken tabletops by storm - what inspired you to start the brand and what is behind the aesthetic?
I love creating products and working out how to market them. Through previous brand experience with The Daily Edited, influencer lunches, dinners and shoots I knew that brands that worked well for creating Instagram content resonated with consumers.
I have always loved entertaining and making beautiful settings, through this I found that there was a real gap in the market for tabletop items that really popped, are on trend and are affordable so you can purchase more of a range and create so many different aesthetics.
I don’t believe there are many brands in the market that have this amount of personality, tell a story, and stay on top of popular trends and although there is a lot of product in the home space (I mean, there's a lot of product across every consumer vertical) finding items that really stand out and that are affordable is hard!
What is the key to good table scaping?
Fun plates - obviously!
The Roundhouse is very getaway-inspired - how do you continue to be inspired and where is the next destination?
I'm inspired by everything around me, social media, books, magazines, journals and general travel - I think ITRH needs to go to Mexico next!
What do the summer months mean for you? How will you be spending the warmer, longer days?
With the windows and doors open and letting fresh air into my home!
