Lotus Long Necklace - Noir / Ruby Zoisite

Inspired by her family history, the founder launched her eponymous haute-fantaisie jewellery brand in 2017. A story above all of sharing and transmission.
The Lotus necklace is handcrafted in Tityaravy's Paris workshop. The fine Lotus stones are embroidered on a thread symbolizing the link uniting our different lives, represented by each of the stones.
Macramé is an ancient weaving technique using knots to create fabric. This particular technique, with knots that can be flat for bracelets or necklaces, or in volume to make objects such as curtains or sculptures, is used to finish each side of your jewel before adding the rings and clasp.
The jewel is knotted at regular intervals to lock in the florets and gemstones, then finished with a macramé that has become a signature of Tityaravy wire jewellery.
A pagan belief is to tie knots as an amulet, and on each knot of the talisman is placed an intention.
This belief is also held by Buddhists, with the "Tibetan knot" considered to be the knot of happiness, and by Celts, with the Love knot...
