Established in Australia in 2021, the designer Kate Ford pulls inspiration from a mixture of cultures, eras and unique art forms. With the goal of producing timeless pieces that complement the beautifully daring, independent, and enchanting woman.

The goal is to create bravely, tread lightly and have a small environmental impact. Within the brand, sustainability is more than just getting a 'green label' it is an attitude that they implement through every process of design.

From day one, the Kate Ford womenswear has been cut and crafted with natural fibres sourced from the earth such as silk, cotton, ramie and linen. The label prides itself on only having synthetic fibres taking up less than 2% of fabrications, which is only factored in for the quality of the garment.

Kate has personally visited every fair trade factory. Meeting the makers and seeing first-hand how the whole manufacturing process operates from end-to-end on the ground is incredibly important to her and the ethical credentials of the brand. She is a big believer in hand-made items and providing work for those who are less fortunate than others.
